Knauf Insulation will be showcasing a range of its high performance insulation products and presenting its new mixed load delivery offer for merchants, at this year’s NMBS (National Merchant Buying Society) Exhibition on 15th May.
Held at The International Centre in Telford, visitors can find out about Knauf Insulation’s newly renamed EarthwoolÒ Building Slab on stand 52. This product, previously know as Earthwool Universal Slab, is designed for use in the building envelope in both residential and non-residential projects and is a semi-rigid to rigid rock mineral wool slab with excellent acoustic, thermal and fire properties. With Earthwool Building Slab being a multi-purpose product, it is ideal for a variety of applications including partitions between timber and metal studs, non-load bearing ground and intermediate floors and pitched roofs between rafters.
Also on display there will be Knauf Insulation’s Earthwool Flexible Slab – a multi-purpose, flexible rock mineral wool slab, designed for use within a wide variety of constructions, such as timber and metal stud partitions, timber frame walls and suspended timber floors.
Additionally, throughout the exhibition, Knauf Insulation will be informing its merchant customers about its new Rock and Roll offer. The offer gives merchants the ability to order mixed deliveries of Knauf Insulation’s rock and glass mineral wool insulation at no extra surcharge, for a limited period only.
Merchants can now order mixed deliveries of the Earthwool® Flexible Slab and Earthwool Building Slab rock products, as well as the Earthwool Loft Roll, Earthwool FrameTherm Roll and Earthwool Acoustic Roll glass mineral wools.
The order can be made up of any combination of these products and is available in three sizes: a quarter load consisting of five pallets, a half load made up of 10 pallets or a full load of 20 pallets. Delivered on one vehicle, the mixed load order facility will significantly reduce the amount of deliveries required where multiple insulation types are necessary and drastically cut the amount of carbon emissions associated with transport.
Lydia Sharples, Head of Communications at Knauf Insulation, said: “Merchants who visit our stand will be informed of the excellent benefits our new rock and roll offering has, as well as being able to increase their knowledge of insulation solutions for a range of applications.”
