The Great British Refurb Campaign, sponsored by Knauf Insulation, has announced the winner of its film competition, aimed at raising awareness of energy saving through refurbishment.
Henry Steedman won the competition with his entry ‘Janet’, a lively and upbeat stop-motion film about a woman who is doing her bit to save the planet. As part of his prize, Henry will now go on to produce a campaign film for the Great British Refurb partner, WWWF-UK, as well as taking home a cash prize of £1,500 and HD camera equipment from Canon UK.
The competition, which was judged by Grand Design’s Kevin McCloud, the Energy Minister Greg Barker MP and several other judges from the worlds of business and film, asked participants to produce a 60-second film that would enthuse and inspire the British public about saving energy.
